 It's official. Cool Ideas are indeed the very cool kids on the block. On Thursday the 6th of August
2009, we hosted some our clients at the Kitchen Bar in The Design Quarter, Fourways, where we
officially unveiled and introduced our new look and feel of the company as well as the two newly
appointed directors - Modiegi Kgokane and Evelyn Salisbury-Stegmann, who have both recently
joined the very cool team.
The transition from cool to very cool was a natural evolution for us as a company. We certainly have
stepped everything up a notch and we guarantee that your experience will be nothing short of very
cool. Our business is underpinned by 5 key principles and values that drive everything we do to

| First National Diploma |

 VeryCoolIdeas is excited to announce the launch of the National Diploma in Education, Training and
Development (ETD) in August this year. The introduction of the Diploma follows a natural extension
to our current Learning Pathways that are on offer.
We believe that the National Diploma enables learners, who have completed the National Certificate
in Occupationally-Directed Education, Training and Development to continue their learning to the next
level in understanding and managing ETD from a strategic and implementation perspective.
The National Diploma provides learners with:
• A nationally recognised qualification in the ETD field that has been internationally benchmarked
against 7 countries
• The ability to enhance their knowledge and skills as an ETD expert
• A stepping stone to promotions and management positions
The Diploma equips learners to understand how training, education and development can be measured in terms of Return on
Investment (ROI) as well as the selection and recruitment of ETD staff and providers. Like all VeryCoolIdeas training
programmes, the Diploma has a large practical component ensuring that learners are able to do and apply their skills back in
the workplace.

 We are very pleased to announce that we have a Corporate Social Investment project. We have
adopted the Molteno Institute for Language and Literacy (MILL). MILL is committed to unlocking
human potential through the provision of high quality literacy education and research in an attempt
to resolve the great literacy crisis of our time.
This CSI project is in line with our vision of empowering individuals to be the best that they can be.
Our involvement includes assisting MILL to align their various training materials by imparting the
necessary skills and knowledge required for them to perform this function and to successfully grow
and achieve their business objectives.
